On May 25, we lost a valued Adopt-A-Pet family member. Alec Maddock, our beloved director, Jody’s son, lost his life in an ATV accident at just 22 years old. Those who have been with Adopt-A-Pet for any length of time know how much Alec loved the organization and his sweet, caring demeanor with the animals. Some may even remember him running around as a toddler when his mother was fulfilling the same passion she passed on to him of loving and saving animals.

Many have asked about GoFundMe pages, but we have created an option where 100% of the donations will go directly to the Maddock family to help with expenses at this difficult time of Alec’s passing.  

  

There will be a celebration of life at Fenton Winery & Brewery on June 13th from 1-4 p.m. If you have a favorite memory or something you would like to share, Jody is creating a memory board.
